Connection test results reflect conditions at the time of testing and do not guarantee ongoing availability.
4. Configuration changes and data protection
Changing settings such as Config, Global Routing, DNS, or On Demand may affect request routing and connection behavior. Before making changes, back up a working configuration and note the current settings. Change one set of conditions at a time, then verify with Connectivity Test and actual access. If a problem occurs, restore the last known working state first.
Subscription URLs, server credentials, and configuration files may contain sensitive information. Keep them secure and redact them before submitting materials for troubleshooting. Responsibility for losses caused by accidental deletion, overwriting, exposed credentials, or inappropriate configuration depends on the circumstances and applicable law.
